CeBIT: Telekom Partner Uniscon to Present Product Line

March 20, 2017 – Munich: How can companies optimize business using cloud services, without having to compromise security? For the first time ever, cloud security experts and Telekom partner Uniscon will present its entire product range of cloud based services and solutions at the CeBIT 2017 trade fair.

Many businesses avoid public clouds, since they are usually deemed vulnerable and risky, and justifiably so. The Munich based cloud security experts Uniscon and their partners Deutsche Telekom and regio-iT, to name only a few, definitely thwart this stance: Uniscon shall present its full cloud security portfolio at the CeBIT fair in Hannover from March 20 – 24, 2017. Visitors can find out how to optimize business using secure cloud solutions at the German Businesscloud stand (Hall 5/Stand G49).

With its internationally patented Sealed Cloud technology, Uniscon has solved a major burning issue in cloud security, i.e. service provider access. Sealed Cloud technology not only ensures that memory and transfer of all data remain encrypted. Moreover, it also ensures via technical means, that both content AND metadata (i.e. connection data) remain protected during processing. This groundbreaking provider-proof technology excludes all unauthorized access, even that of service provider staff or administrators, at all times.

Research and development of Uniscon’s Sealed Cloud technology has enjoyed the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s continuous support in recent years, so that applications, e.g. CRM, ERP, mailing systems and big data apps, can now be operated safely via Sealed Cloud platform.

Today, Uniscon offers businesses (with single products also being available via partners), four cloud solutions:

  • iDGARD – The secure cloud service for data exchange and teamwork. iDGARD is as easy to use as conventional services yet ensures maximum security to a degree, that even parties obliged to professional and special-official secrecy, e.g. doctors and lawyers, remain privacy compliant when exchanging personal and personally identifiable data.
  • Sealed FreezeA policy-based procedure that enables data access management. The technology allows confidential incident management and privacy compliant data retention while meeting the highest privacy demands of the European Court of Justice.
  • Sealed Analytics A cloud solution for privacy compliant big data analysis. Sealed Analytics allows bulk data to be evaluated in technically sealed data centers while technically excluding all personal correlation.
  • Sealed Platform – A hermetically sealed platform on which to base further services and applications. Third-party services must comply with Sealed Cloud specification. In other words, Sealed Platform also increases the security of public cloud solutions, owing to Sealed Cloud technology.

„We look forward to being able to present, at the CeBIT 2017 fair, what we’ve been working on the past years,” says Uniscon CTO Dr. Hubert Jäger. “With applications based on a Sealed Cloud platform, data centers and businesses ensure a level of security unprecedented to date. We are particularly proud to now be able to offer our Sealed Cloud technology also through Deutsche Telekom.“ Cloud users that choose a certified service that conforms to their privacy demands, automatically fulfil control obligations pursuant to § 11 BDSG (German Data Protection Act). Currently, more than 1,250 businesses successfully use Sealed Cloud technology.
